Happiness Equals Success

We pride ourselves on our exceptionally high-quality pastoral care. It’s woven throughout every aspect of Peponi House school life. Our nurturing approach starts from the beginning, at Peponi House Kabete Kindergarten, and continues throughout our children’s educational journey with us. We provide a warm and comfortable atmosphere where each child feels safe and cared for, encouraging a nurturing environment for all of our children both formally through our pastoral systems, and informally through our children. This allows our children to build positive relationships with each other and with adults.

The backbone of our proactive pastoral care system is open communication.

Each section of the school is overseen by a member of the Senior Management Team: the Head of the Pre-prep (Years 1 and 2), Head of Juniors (Years 3 and 4), Head of Middles (Years 5 and 6) and Head of Seniors (Years 7 and 8). They all ensure regular communication between children, parents and the school. This is paramount to ensuring a secure Peponi family environment where we build confidence and resilience.

One of our great strengths is our Form Tutor system, made up of both Form Teachers and Admin Tutors. From years 5 through to 8 each class has two adults to oversee and care for each class. The Form Tutor encourages their tutees in academic and pastoral matters, so parents can be confident that there is a dedicated adult who takes a personal interest in their child’s wellbeing. Form teachers and tutors are readily available to talk to you about any aspect of Peponi House school life.

Ultimately, the happiness of every child is paramount to everything we do at Peponi.
