Well-being

Here at Peponi House Kabete Kindergarten our priority is always the happiness and well-being of all our children. Our dedicated team of professionals ensure that the children are at the heart of everything. We have strong pastoral links between our children, staff and parents and our lines of communication remain open and clear.

We have a team of dedicated, professionals who work with the children, to support them, have fun with them and keep them safe. We work using the UK EYFS adult-child ratios, in Playgroup we have a teacher and 2 assistants in each class and in Foundation and Reception a teacher and an assistant in each class. We also have a dedicated, on site Nurse at school who the children adore.

We ensure that our children are safe and happy at school and our environment and staff provide the perfect place for this.

Peponi is proud to provide high quality and individual pastoral care. The welfare of our children will always remain our prime concern.

Our daily care

The school opens in the mornings from 7.45 am offering varied drop off times. We will work flexibly to align with the needs of working families and siblings at Peponi House Preparatory School.

The length of children’s days varies based on their age and preferences:

  • We offer half days in Playgroup and Foundation, where children can go home before lunch. Alternatively they can stay for an extended day with lunch and an afternoon activity until home time at 2.15 pm
  • Reception children do a full day in school until 3.00 pm and then have the option of an after-school activity until 3.45 pm.

All the children have a mid-morning snack provided by school, just before their play time. This snack is freshly prepared, there are fruits and vegetables offered every day. As well as this, we prepare lunch in our onsite kitchen and pride ourselves on our fresh, healthy and well-balanced menu. Many of our children say that our Chef’s food is one of their favourite parts of Peponi House Kabete Kindergarten.
