IAPS Netball Tournament Success

Last Saturday, the U11 and U13 A and B teams took part in the annual IAPS Netball Tournament hosted by The Banda, and wow, what a fantastic standard of netball! All four of our teams gave everything of themselves against very good opposition, and these are the results:

U11A reached the Cup quarter-finals and were knocked out by Pembroke A.

U11B made their way through to the plate final and won the plate, beating Pembroke B in the last second of normal time!

U13B progressed to the cup quarter finals (a fantastic achievement!) and were knocked out in the quarter finals.

U13A won their group and progressed through to the Cup finals, where they met The Banda. In a ding-dong battle, they sadly and narrowly lost the final 8-7. The two finalists were definitely the two best teams at the tournament. These girls were selected for the Nairobi East team: Amani, Maia, Tamira, Tizita and Mara. Well done to all the girls who took part.
